About Me

Christos Despotakis is a freelancer video game designer, developer, and software engineer. He obtained his BCompSc from University of Crete, Computer Science Department and he has also studied Geology and Mathematics at the Univercity of Athens. He is awarded an undergraduate scholarship from ICS-FORTH for his Diploma work on Interactive Educative Game for the Ambient Intelligence Lab (AmI).

He is most skilled in: C/C++ and Eating Pizza.

The Institute of Computer Science has had a relatively long history and recognised tradition, since its establishment in 1983, in conducting basic and applied research, developing applications and products, providing services, and playing a leading role in Greece and internationally, in the fields of Information and Communication Technologies.

Researched, designed and developed the build tree view extension component for Sparrow IDE.

Designed and developed code examples and test cases for the Delta language.

Also, was one of the designers and developers of an Interactive Educative Game for the Ambient Intelligence Programme (AmI), a prototype of a multi user, multi ensemble video board game, played in an ambient intelligence room using augmented reality.

During his time at UoA he studied Economic Geology & Geochemistry, Climatology, Historical Geology & Paleontology, Geophysics, Mineralogy & Petrology, Physical Geography, Remote Sensing, Seismology, and Tectonics & Geological Mapping among other subject.
